The project involved the complete refurbishment of Sir Gilbert Scott’s architectural masterpiece dating from 1900 and the addition of a new hotel wing to the rear. The completed project included a new Marriott Renaissance hotel and spa and 138 new residential apartments within the original building.

Project overview

At the start of the project R K Joinery were engaged to carry out enabling works. We were then tasked with replacing the existing floors to the 5th and upper mezzanine areas using traditional construction methods.

We also refurbished, manufactured and redecorated the majority of the external timber windows as well as several internal timber screens and doors.
